Times Square Church Premium Scholarship
$6000

Eligibility

Awarded to talented young people who are at risk due to economic or other circumstances. The recipients of this scholarship opportunity display a heart to be involved in ministry and serve others but may not have the financial means to further their education. All TSC awarded scholarship recipients are asked to serve a summer internship (June – August) at Summit after their “scholarship awarded” year.

Criteria

To qualify, applicants must: provide a letter of recommendation from your pastor, demonstrate substantial financial need, and an interview with qualified applicants may be requested. To demonstrate substantial financial need, applicants must provide: a copy of most recent W-2 (if applicable), a copy of most recent paystub (if applicable), a copy of most recent W-2 for anyone providing substantial support to the applicant, and any other financial documentation to prove claims made in the Essay (bank statements, loan or mortgage documents, etc.)

Cross and the Switchblade Scholarship
$1000 – $3000

Eligibility

Awarded annually to students from urban areas, demonstrating obvious financial need and a desire to reach inner city youth.

Criteria

To qualify, applicants must: live in an urban area, exhibit a desire to reach inner city youth, demonstrate an obvious financial need, and provide two letters of recommendation (from non-relatives). Applicants must have a GPA of 2.0 or above. To demonstrate an obvious financial need, applicants must provide: a copy of most recent W-2 (if applicable), a copy of most recent paystub (if applicable), a copy of most recent W-2 for anyone providing significant support to the applicant, and any other financial documentation to prove claims made
in the Essay (bank statements, loan or mortgage documents, etc.)

Lea Pepitone Scholarship
$2500

Eligibility

Awarded to freshman students from a home education background who demonstrate obvious financial need, have a record of volunteer service in their community and solid pastoral recommendations.

Criteria

To be eligible, applicants must: be an incoming freshman student with a homeschool education background, demonstrate an obvious financial need, have a record of volunteer service in their community, and provide a pastoral recommendation. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 or above. To demonstrate an obvious financial need, applicants must provide: a copy of most recent W-2 (if applicable), a copy of most recent paystub (if applicable), a copy of most recent W-2 for anyone providing significant support to the applicant, and any other financial documentation to prove claims made in the Essay (bank statements, loan or mortgage documents, etc.)

General’s Scholarship
$2000 – $5955

Eligibility

Awarded to a deserving student of some Native American Heritage. A pastor’s recommendation noting zeal and enthusiasm in addition to academic qualifications is preferred for this award.

To be eligible, applicants must: be of some Native American Heritage, provide a pastor’s recommendation noting zeal and enthusiasm in addition to academic qualifications. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 or above.

Jacob Scholarship
$2000

Eligibility

Awarded to a student of character and pressing financial need. Pastoral recommendations and adequate academic qualifications are required.

Criteria

To be eligible, applicants must: be an individual of demonstrated character, have a pressing financial need, provide a pastoral recommendation. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.0 or above. To demonstrate a pressing financial need, applicants must provide: a copy of most recent W-2 (if applicable), a copy of most recent paystub (if applicable), a copy of most recent W-2 for anyone providing significant support to the applicant, and any other financial documentation to prove claims made in the Essay (bank statements, loan or mortgage documents, etc.)

Summit Scholarship
$1000 – $2500

Eligibility

Awarded to international students who attend Summit on an F-1 student visa. Students with outstanding personal recommendations and good academic standing may apply.

Criteria

To be eligible, applicants must: be an international student (F-1 visa), and provide two outstanding personal recommendations (from non-relatives) highlighting exemplary Christian character. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or above (or a B average equivalent).

David Wilkerson Memorial Scholarship
$1000 – $3000

Eligibility

In memory of our beloved Pastor David Wilkerson, this scholarship is funded by an endowment of Times Square Church in New York City, in gratitude to God for his spirit-led ministry which encompassed over 60 years.

Criteria

To be eligible, applicants must: provide two letters of recommendation (from non-relatives), demonstrate financial hardship and have a GPA of 2.5 or above. Paul Stepanian Memorial Scholarship
$2000

Eligibility

This scholarship is awarded in memory of Paul Stepanian, a man who loved the Lord and his family. Paul excelled in athletics and loved coaching and mentoring youth. He was a talented musician and believed, before he died, that the Lord was drawing him to lead children’s praise and worship. In honoring Paul, this scholarship is offered to students who have a passion to coach and mentor youths through sports and/or are musically inclined to lead young people in worship. Applicants who are called to ministry, in spite of physical limitations or health challenges, are also encouraged to apply.

Criteria

To qualify, applicants must: provide a letter of recommendation, write an essay, and demonstrate substantial financial need. An interview with qualified applicants may be requested. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 or above.
