Internship Program


Summit’s internship program offers graduates the unique opportunity to work in a church or ministry to gain practical vocational skills. Each graduate is given the chance to apply for an internship with one of our many ministry partners.


The following is a list of ministries who host our interns. However, new internship opportunities open up every year.


Adullam House | Wetumpka, Alabama                                        

Adullam House is a safe haven for the children of incarcerated parents.  For some it’s a short-term rescue. For others it will be a brand-new permanent home. At Adullam House, their future is forever changed. Here they can simply be kids. They find a safe, loving environment and learn a new way of life.


East Harlem Fellowship | New York, New York

Located in East Harlem, which started as an evangelistic coffeehouse in 1998 through a church plant of TSC. It stands as a pivotal congregation serving a diverse population of people within the area.  The church is a strong family rooted in love with a heart to transform the community.


Harvest Evangelism | Opelika, Alabama

Harvest Evangelism has many faces to its ministry, from outreach & rehabilitation programs to those with life controlling issues to church plant in Opelika/Auburn area to the running of a thrift store & farm as a means to assist financially as well as offer practical skill training to those in the rehab program.


Light of the World Church, | Minisink Hills, PA

Through the establishment and operation of Light of the World Church, our mission is to promote the doctrines and teachings of Jesus Christ as revealed in His Word, the Holy bible, engaging in activities inclusive of salvation, discipleship and servant-hood as accomplished and led by the indwelling and presence of the Holy Spirit.


Living Hope Church of God | New Brunswick, Canada

A church whose vision is: Connect to God – Grow with others – Go on mission.  The church’s mission is to love those whom God brings to them and give hope in Christ to a lost and hurting world.


Summit International School of Ministry | Grantville, PA

Internships at Summit are an opportunity for graduates to have a hands-on, inside look at the “behind-the-scenes” inner workings of a Bible School. We have positions and responsibilities varying from meal preparation in the cafeteria, answering phones in the office, proctoring classes, and general upkeep of the campus.  Summit interns are given the experience and benefit of working within an established ministry and organization that they are very familiar with; however, they have the gift of seeing the school with a whole new perspective.


The Springs Church | Colorado Springs, Colorado

The Springs Church Internship in partnership with World Challenge seeks to train students who have a desire to one day work in full-time vocational ministry. Interns will experience ministry in the everyday life of the local church as well as weekly leadership training and development.


The Springs Church Jacksonville | Jacksonville, Florida

Interns in Jacksonville will have a unique experience being fully involved in a church plant. The interns will support the mission and heart of the church, in serving the community in children and youth outreaches, and discipleship programs.


Times Square Church | New York, New York

The interns serve a large and diverse congregation with a vast array of needs at Times Square Church in New York City. The interns are challenged to step out of their comfort zone and step into the fast-paced environment of a church with ministries stretching worldwide. The general assignment for the interns is to work in the various departments and ministries of the church. They learn multiple skills that will become invaluable in future ministerial positions, regardless of size or location.


Youth for Christ | Lebanon, Pennsylvania

Lebanon Valley Youth for Christ is an independent, urban ministry focusing on K-12th graders in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. They provide breakfast and devotions for middle school and high school students every school day. They have evening programs 3 nights a week throughout the entire year including dinner, activities, and Bible lessons. Utilizing their retreat center they are able to provide retreats and summer camps. Their youth center is in the heart of Lebanon making it accessible for young people across the city to walk to their events.
